About Avacta Life Sciences

Avacta Life Sciences develops pre|CISION®, a FAP-activated drug delivery platform. A peptide masks an existing cancer drug so it stays inactive in the bloodstream until an enzyme found in tumor-supporting cells (fibroblast activation protein, FAP) cleaves it.

The lead program, faridoxorubicin (AVA6000), is a doxorubicin-based peptide drug conjugate in Phase 1b expansion cohorts for salivary gland cancer, triple negative breast cancer and soft tissue sarcoma. A second program, FAP-Exd (AVA6103), an exatecan-based candidate with a sustained release mechanism, is in Phase 1 testing across four cancer settings.
