About Basecamp Research
Basecamp Research trains frontier AI models for therapeutic design. Its EDEN model, a 28B-parameter model, is trained on BaseData, a proprietary evolutionary genomic dataset of over 100 billion novel genes sourced through partnerships in more than 30 countries.
The company is advancing its own pipeline of EDEN-designed therapeutics spanning gene insertion, gene editing and peptide design, currently in preclinical development. It also licenses its work to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and two EDEN capabilities, antibiotic design and antigen immunogenicity prediction, are available through Claude.
Basecamp Research is headquartered in London and has offices and labs in Boston. Press items on its website report a $140 million Series C round in September 2026. The company lists 13 open roles across science, data, product and operations in London and Boston.
Product: EDEN, a 28B-parameter model that translates evolutionary genomic data into therapeutic designs, plus a preclinical therapeutic pipeline.
