About Aviadobio

AviadoBio develops gene therapies for neurodegenerative diseases, using engineered genetic medicines and delivery technologies designed to target the brain, spinal cord and retina. Its vMiX platform is designed for RNA silencing of gain-of-function gene targets.

The company’s pipeline includes programs for frontotemporal dementia, retinal dystrophies, Alzheimer’s disease and other tauopathies, and ALS. Its AVB-101 Phase 1/2 study for people with a genetic subtype of frontotemporal dementia is open for enrollment.

AviadoBio was founded in 2019 and is based in London. It was formed from research at King’s College London and the UK Dementia Research Institute.
