About Swabian Instruments
Swabian Instruments develops digital data acquisition and signal generation instruments that combine FPGA hardware with software toolkits. Its Time Tagger Series performs streaming time-to-digital conversion for single-photon counting, the Pulse Streamer 8/2 and Pulse Streamer X generate synchronous digital patterns and waveforms, and the Synchronizer provides clocking for applications with up to 160 input channels.
The customers are scientists and research institutions, including top universities and research institutes, as well as organisations working on optical quantum technologies. The company sells its instruments and associated software.
Swabian Instruments was founded in 2016 by Helmut Fedder, Michael Schlagmüller and Markus Wick as a spin-off of the University of Stuttgart. Its headquarters are in Stuttgart, Germany, and it has offices in Boston and Shanghai. Current job openings include technical sales, application engineering and product specialist roles in Stuttgart, Boston and Shanghai.
Product: Time Tagger Series streaming time-to-digital converters, Pulse Streamer digital pattern generators, and the Synchronizer clocking system for research labs.
