About Verkada
Verkada builds AI-powered physical security products, including video security, access control, alarms, intercoms, air quality sensors, visitor management and sound systems. The devices are managed through Verkada Command, a cloud-based platform intended to replace on-premises NVRs and servers.

Verkada was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in San Mateo, California. It has offices in Salt Lake City, Austin, Phoenix, Tampa, Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Mexico City, London, Krakow, Dubai, Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei, Singapore and Sydney, and it reports more than 2,000 full-time employees. It closed a Series E funding round at the end of 2025. Current openings are mainly in sales, solutions engineering, channel sales and software engineering, including roles in Poland, Austria and several other European countries.
