About Wattalps
Wattalps designs and produces high-performance battery systems for heavy-duty industrial machines. Customers are equipment manufacturers and system integrators in construction and mining, maritime, commercial vehicles, cargo handling and logistics, agriculture and forestry, and utility and battery energy storage. The company sells battery systems to these customers.
Wattalps was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Moirans, France. Its co-founders include Matthieu Desbois-Renaudin, president, Manuel Ronco, general manager, and Jean-Noël Carminati, product manager. The company has received funding from the EU Horizon 2020 research programme. It is currently recruiting for prototype and battery production technician roles.
