About Voltr

VoltR is a French manufacturer of lithium batteries that uses second-life cells to build products with performance comparable to standard batteries. It designs and produces batteries at its factory in Anjou, either from a catalogue or to custom specifications. Other services cover state-of-health diagnosis of used batteries, collection of end-of-life batteries, and industrial repair and remanufacturing of micromobility batteries.

Its batteries serve light mobility (e-bikes, e-scooters), electronic devices and stationary energy storage. Customers that appear on the site include ParaNocta, Leroy Merlin, Bodet, G-Heat, Famoco and INNLED. The company sells to businesses and works with them on co-development of batteries.

VoltR was founded in December 2022 by four co-founders and has its headquarters in Verrières-en-Anjou. Its first production line was inaugurated in Angers in 2023. The company is recruiting technicians, product engineers and sales staff.
