Voima Gold

Voima Gold operates Voima Account, a service where customers exchange euros for gold, including amounts as small as a milligram. Account holders can deposit gold, exchange it back into euros, transfer euros to a bank account, withdraw gold bars, and apply for a gold-backed VoimaCredit loan. Voima states that the gold is insured to its full market value and that its auditing partners verify purity and ownership.

Customers are individuals, parents who open accounts for children, and companies. Revenue comes from an annual account fee of 0.99% of the gold held, a 1.99% buying and selling fee on gold transactions, and fees for gold withdrawals, deliveries and documents. Voima Supply sells bullion, coins and Voima-related products, and a service partner, Voima Refining Oy, refines precious metal batches deposited into accounts.

The company was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Helsinki. It also has a second Helsinki office used for account withdrawals and deposits and for precious metal deliveries. Marko Viinikka is the founder and CEO, and Saku Pitkänen chairs the board.
