About Trafigura

Trafigura sources, ships, stores and blends oil and petroleum products, metals and minerals, gas and power, and carbon removal credits, connecting producers with consumers. It also runs a fleet of vessels and shipping and marine logistics services, and invests in renewables, hydrogen and carbon removal projects.

Its customers are commodity producers, refiners and industrial consumers in energy, mobility, electronics, construction and industry. The group is owned by its employees and has more than 1,400 shareholders. Its group companies and joint ventures include multi-metals producer Nyrstar, fuel storage and distribution company Puma Energy, fuel supplier Greenergy and the Impala Terminals joint venture.

Trafigura was founded in 1993 and employs approximately 14,500 people in more than 50 locations, working with producers and customers in over 150 countries. Offices are presented in Geneva, Singapore, Houston, Calgary, Montevideo and Shanghai, with Singapore serving as the Asia Pacific headquarters.
