About Tibber
Tibber is a digital electricity supplier. Customers manage their tariff, consumption and bills in the Tibber app. The main tariffs are Simple Fix, a 12-month fixed price that works with digital, analogue or smart meters, and Smart Dynamic, which bills electricity at 15-minute wholesale prices and requires a smart meter. Smart Charging adjusts electric-vehicle charging to low-price hours, and a Smart Battery feature connects existing home storage systems to the app. The company also sells the Pulse real-time consumption tracker, which it describes as its own hardware, and operates the Tibber Store for smart devices and add-ons.
Its customers are households, including owners of electric vehicles and home batteries, who buy electricity from Tibber. Revenue comes from electricity supply, with a monthly Tibber fee of 5.99 € on some tariffs, and from Store sales. The company says it passes on electricity bought in 15-minute intervals without its usual margin.
