Skeleton Technologies

Skeleton Technologies develops high-power energy storage and power systems based on its patented Curved Graphene technology. Its product lines include GrapheneUPS (double-conversion UPS), GrapheneGPU (peak-shaving capacitor systems), GrapheneBBU (battery backup units) and grid-scale storage systems for AI data centers, grid stability, defense and industrial applications.

The company sells hardware systems to data center operators, hyperscalers, grid and industrial customers, and mobility OEMs; the website also lists automotive, rail, bus, marine and mining applications. It states that it does not serve private customers. Revenue comes from product sales of these systems; the website does not describe other revenue streams.

The company was founded in 2009 in Tartu, Estonia, and has production in Leipzig and Bitterfeld-Wolfen (Germany), Varkaus (Finland), Tallinn (Estonia) and Lappeenranta (Finland). Its website says it has raised almost 400 million euros and lists about 40 open roles, mostly in production, engineering, sales and finance across Germany, Finland, Estonia and the US.
