About Sala Secure

Sala Secure develops AvuLogin, a multifactor authentication product that replaces separate passwords with six secret codes built from the user's own chosen photos, combined with biometrics and a registered device.

Its customers are organisations; the company says it is currently focusing on partnerships with organisations and plans to offer the solution to individual users later. Sala Secure states it sells to businesses of all sizes with flexible pricing.

Sala Secure Oy is registered in Finland with its headquarters in Jyväskylä. It was launched as a spin-off from the University of Jyväskylä in October 2024, following more than ten years of research and a two-year Research to Business project. The company says it is developing dedicated hardware devices for high-security environments and is working toward a launch, with its four co-founding employees as owners.
