About Radiator Software

Radiator Software Oy develops and sells network authentication software. Its main product, Radiator AAA server, is an all-in-one RADIUS, Diameter and TACACS+ server, first released in 1998. Radiator Policy Server, released in 2025, is a RADIUS and TACACS+ AAA server with a Rust-based policy engine and a monitoring dashboard.

Customers range from Tier 1 telcos and ISPs to enterprises, educational and public organisations. Use cases include Wi-Fi authentication, device administration over TACACS+, multi-factor authentication, eduroam and govroam roaming, IoT private APN authentication and fixed-line authentication. Revenue comes from licence sales through a partner network and from expert services such as installation and configuration assistance, proof-of-concept deployments, performance consulting and training.

The company was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in Tampere, Finland. Its products are used by customers in over 180 countries, and it has partners on all continents.
