About Ortus Energy

Ortus Energy designs, funds, installs and operates on-site solar systems, including rooftop solar, car park canopies and battery storage, for commercial and industrial organisations.

Customers are energy-intensive businesses with large estates, such as manufacturing, logistics, retail and food production sites. The company sells long-term solar power purchase agreements (PPAs) with no upfront investment, so customers buy the electricity at a long-term fixed price. The company is backed by SSE Energy Solutions, part of SSE plc.

The company is headquartered in London and was founded in 2020. Its website names projects at Atlas Copco, Iceland, GE and Royal Ascot, and reports 3.5M+ kWh of clean electricity generated annually across operational sites in the UK and Ireland.

Product: Fully funded on-site solar PPAs with design, installation and operation of rooftop, car park canopy and battery storage systems.
