Nordic Usv

Nordic USV collects marine data with unmanned surface vessels (USVs), which are controlled from a control centre in Bergen over 4G or Starlink. Its services are CTD profiling down to 1500 metres measuring oxygen saturation, turbidity and fluorescence, water sampling at depths of 0 to 30 metres, Secchi depth measurement, and seabed mapping with multibeam echo sounders in cooperation with Skanska Survey.

Customers are consultants and advisers who need data for planning, design and environmental mapping. Prices are set per assignment based on area, number of stations and parameters measured. Water samples are analysed by Eurofins, the company's fixed laboratory partner, and results can be delivered into the client's project in Kystdata.io, the company's platform for planning, ordering and following up assignments.

Nordic USV was founded in 2023 and is registered in Bergen, Norway. Its vessels are stationed from the Oslofjord to Helgeland, and the company also takes assignments outside these areas. The website reports 11,921,769 data points collected and 15,796 nautical miles sailed.
