Norges Bank Investment Management is responsible for the operational management of Norway’s Government Pension Fund Global, a long-term savings fund established to manage revenue from oil and gas resources. Its investments include equities, bonds, unlisted real estate and renewable energy infrastructure.

The fund is owned by the Norwegian government and managed under a framework set by the Ministry of Finance and Parliament. Norges Bank Investment Management’s stated objective is to achieve the highest possible return while managing the fund safely, efficiently, responsibly and transparently.

Founded in 1990, it has its head office in Oslo and offices in London, New York and Singapore. It employs people from 37 countries and is recruiting a Senior Investment Manager for renewable energy infrastructure in New York.
