About Miros

Miros builds dry-mounted radar sensors, IoT systems and cloud analytics that measure ocean surface conditions, including waves, currents, speed through water and oil spill detection. Products include the RangeFinder, Wave & Current Radar, Wavex, WaveFusion and the Oil Spill Detection System, along with Miros Cloud and analytics tools such as Data Explorer and Forecast.

Customers are offshore oil and gas, offshore wind and maritime operators, shipping companies, ports, coastal agencies and oil companies. Miros sells sensors and systems, and offers sea state data as a service, with Miros Cloud available as a subscription alongside its core sensors.

Miros was founded in 1984 and is headquartered in Asker, Norway. It is part of Aircontact Group AS, a Norwegian private holding company. The company reports more than 250 oil spill detection systems delivered to oil companies, ship owners and coastal agencies.
