About Nanopower Semiconductor

Nanopower Semiconductor develops the nPZero power-saving IC, a subthreshold chip that keeps battery-powered systems in the nanoampere range while the wireless host is inactive. The chip can run peripherals and simple rule-based actions without an active microcontroller, and can wake the host for wireless communication. The product line includes the nPZG1S and nPZ2100 ICs and the nPZero DevKit.

The customers are developers of battery-powered and energy-harvesting IoT systems. Products are sold directly and through a global distribution partnership with Rutronik. The company sells integrated circuits and a development kit.

Nanopower was founded in 2017 and is incorporated in Norway, with headquarters in Kristiansand and an office in Porto, Portugal. Its team is listed across Norway, Portugal, the UK, Romania, the Americas and Asia. The company currently has an open position for a Test Development Engineer.

Product: nPZero power-saving IC (nPZG1S and nPZ2100 variants) and nPZero DevKit for low-power battery-powered devices
