About Methics

Methics develops identity and digital signature software based on mobile PKI and open standards. Its Kiuru MSSP platform supports authentication from click-OK LoA2 up to eIDAS High (LoA4), and document signing with AdES and QES. Client options include the Alauda P38 SIM card applet and the Alauda PBY smartphone app.

Customers are mobile network operators, government entities, certificate authorities and (Q)TSPs, and integrators that add multi-factor authentication to their own products. Methics states that it has delivered solutions across EMEA and APAC regions.

Methics Oy was established in 2002 and is headquartered in Espoo, Finland. The platform has been in use since 2003 and was deployed for Swisscom's Mobile ID service. Jarmo Miettinen is Founder and CEO.
