About Megical
Megical develops hightrust.id, a mobile digital wallet for managing digital identities and verified transactions without passwords. It supports strong authentication and electronic signatures using a citizen certificate and an NFC-enabled mobile device.
The service is used by businesses and individuals, including healthcare professionals in Finland. The company launched the wallet in Finland and the EU in 2023; its identity brokerage service is approved for the Finnish Cybersecurity Centre’s register and was assessed against eIDAS high-assurance requirements.
