About Hydrogenpro

HydrogenPro ASA, based in Porsgrunn, Norway, designs and manufactures high-pressure alkaline electrolyzers. A standard module consists of two cell stacks connected to a gas-liquid separation unit, is designed for indoor installation into a complete hydrogen plant, and produces hydrogen at 15 bar and 99.6% purity. The system is built to respond to intermittent power input from renewable sources.

Customers are industrial and energy operators in refinery decarbonization, fertilizer and ammonia, steel production, power-to-gas, synthetic aviation fuel and grid balancing. Projects are contracted through purchase orders. Reference projects include a 220 MW hydrogen hub in Utah, US, and a 100 MW plant at Salzgitter, Germany, where partner ANDRITZ builds the electrolysis plant on an EPC basis using HydrogenPro cell stacks.

The company was founded in 2013 and has been producing electrolyzers since then. Its website lists a 500 MW production capacity and a manufacturing partnership with ANDRITZ in Europe. The company is hiring for a production technician role in Denmark.
