The company sells its compressors, gas panels and services to industrial customers working with hydrogen for energy storage, industrial decarbonisation and mobility. It commissions and maintains its systems at customer sites in France and across Europe.
EIFHYTEC was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Strasbourg, with a second site in Haguenau in Northern Alsace. Its team includes engineers, PhDs and technicians with backgrounds in mechanics, electrochemistry, thermodynamics and electronics.
In 2025 the company won the Hy-Fcell Award in Stuttgart, and its COSMHYC DEMO was placed second in the IEA Hydrogen TCP Award of Excellence. In January 2026 it announced the kick-off of the European project DESIREE. The company is recruiting a production and maintenance technician for its Haguenau workshop.
