About Capsol Technologies
Capsol Technologies ASA licenses post-combustion carbon capture technology based on a hot potassium carbonate (HPC) solvent. Its product lines are CapsolEoP, an end-of-pipe unit for industrial plants with integrated heat generation; CapsolGT, a retrofit solution for simple-cycle gas turbines; and CapsolGo, mobile test units for chemical performance testing on a customer's flue gas.
The technology is licensed directly to customers or through industrial partners globally. Target segments include cement, biomass, energy-from-waste and gas turbines, with customers such as utilities, data centers and midstream or pipeline operators. Holcim is named as a partner and investor, and a Stockholm Exergi project is under construction.
The company was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Oslo, Norway. Its shares are listed on Euronext Oslo Børs under the ticker CAPSL. Development of the HPC technology began in 2003, and the first successful tests were performed at the Värtan combined heat and power plant in Stockholm in 2008.
