About Brauerei Schimpfle

Brauerei Schimpfle is a family brewery in Gessertshausen, Bavaria. The brewery uses open vessel fermentation and sources ingredients regionally where possible.

Its products are sold to consumers in Germany, and the Lösch-Zwerg brand is known beyond Bavaria. The company also runs a fan shop for its merchandise.

The company traces its origins to 1864, when Mathias Schimpfle acquired an inn with brewing rights in Gessertshausen. The Lösch-Zwerg brand was launched in 1998 and the Bazi cola mix in 2021. The company is currently hiring a Brauer & Mälzer (brewer and maltster) and a Bilanzbuchhalter (chief accountant) in Gessertshausen.
