Revenue comes from wholesale sales of its product portfolio, which covers transfusion medicine, laboratory diagnostics, dialysis, life science instruments and reagents, infusion solutions, and other clinical areas. The company holds a State Institute for Drug Control (ŠÚKL) licence for wholesale distribution of human medicines.
BIOHEM a. s. was founded in 2022 in Trenčín, where it is registered, through the merger of BIOHEM, spol. s r. o. and UNOTECH, spol. s r. o., and builds on about 30 years of activity of both predecessor companies. It is a subsidiary of a foreign group.
