About Arciplug
Arciplug develops and builds biogas plants based on its patented PLUG FLOW dry digestion technology, which converts high-solids organic waste such as straw and municipal solid waste into biogas without added water. The digesters are standardized, prefabricated reactor components manufactured in a controlled environment and assembled on site.
Customers include agricultural operations, municipal projects and operators processing source-separated bio waste in Europe, and complex municipal solid waste in Asia. In Europe the company delivers digesters as turnkey solutions; in low-cost countries it works with EPC contractors who assemble the digesters using Arciplug's design and technical support, and it also works through licensing with local partners.
The company was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Leppävesi, Finland. It reports more than 30 PLUG FLOW digesters commissioned worldwide and a current project in Haryana, India that processes rice straw and cow manure into biomethane.
