About Aurelia Turbines

Aurelia Turbines Oy, which trades as Aurelia Technologies, develops small radial inflow gas turbines. Its product line includes 400 kW and 800 kW turbine packages for industrial and distributed on-site power. The turbines are designed to run on hydrogen (up to 70%), biogas and other variable fuels such as flare gas and syngas.

The company sells turbine packages to operators in agriculture and waste, cold storage and grocery, data centres, hospitals, industrial manufacturing, municipal and commercial real estate, and oil and gas. Named clients on the website include Deep Energy Technologies and N2 Energy.

The company was founded in 2013 in Finland as a university-led research initiative, using technologies from LUT University. It received an EU Horizon 2020 grant in 2020, delivered its first commercial projects in 2022, and expanded to the USA in 2025, when it also relocated its headquarters. Its headquarters is in Lappeenranta, Finland.
