Apex Heat

Apex Heat develops Apex Heat App, a calculation tool for energy consultants that produces investment plans for building energy renovation, energy certificate inputs, and calculations of energy subsidy eligibility and amount. The software can import an existing energy certificate or an IFC building model as input and simulates how individual measures, such as heating, ventilation, solar power and added insulation, change the e-luku values. It can also analyse one or a thousand buildings in one run, which the company presents as useful for large portfolios. Official energy certificates are prepared by certified assessors using the software.

Customers include engineering firms in Finland, energy companies, heat pump manufacturers and contractors, housing companies and property managers, real estate investors, and municipalities. The company also provides energy-saving planning for building owners and produces analytics for its partners.

The company was founded in 2018 according to the Finnish business register and is headquartered in Helsinki. Its CEO, Jussi Vimpari, has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Aalto University and is a visiting researcher there.
