About Alteams
Alteams produces aluminium castings using high pressure die casting, low pressure die casting and sand casting. Its services also include prototyping, in-house mould design and manufacturing, CNC machining, friction stir welding, impregnation and leakage control, surface treatment, gasket dispensing, heat treatment, shot blasting and complete assembly of aluminium modules.
Customers are manufacturers in e-mobility, telecommunication, electronics, energy, industrial and medical sectors. The company sells cast and finished aluminium components and engineering support for them.
Alteams is registered in Laihia, Finland, with a founding date of 1962, and its own history dates back to 1942. It operates five factories, including Alteams Suzhou in China and a site in Lębork, Poland, and is part of the Kuusakoski Group. The company reports over 1,700 employees and holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF 16949 certifications. In September 2026 the group sold a majority stake in Alteams Suzhou to a new investor group.
