About Amexci
AMEXCI provides industrial metal additive manufacturing: laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) production runs in aluminium, titanium, stainless steel and nickel-based superalloys. Its services also cover design review, post-processing (heat treatment, CNC milling, turning, wire EDM, grinding), inspection (CMM, optical scanning, GD&T verification, First Article Inspection) and material testing (tensile, fatigue, hardness and microstructure analysis).
Customers are industrial OEMs, with published case studies in defence (SIG SAUER, Botnia Solutions), motorsport (Black Smoke Racing) and space (Pythom Space). The company sells production runs and related manufacturing services on quotation. Its certifications include AS9100D, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949, and its materials laboratory holds ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation from SWEDAC.
The business started in Karlskoga, Sweden, in 2017 as a shared vehicle of Nordic industrial companies. The Finnish subsidiary AMEXCI Oy was established in 2021 and is registered in Lempäälä, near Tampere. At the end of 2024 production moved into a purpose-built factory in Örebro, Sweden.
