Deutsche Zeppelin-Reederei GmbH (DZR) operates Zeppelin NT airships as a commercial airline for scenic sightseeing flights over German regions, including the Lake Constance area, the Ruhr region, the Rhineland, Munich and Frankfurt. The fleet consists of three Zeppelins. The company also offers hangar tours in Friedrichshafen and sells gift vouchers and souvenirs.

DZR is a wholly owned subsidiary of ZLT Zeppelin Luftschifftechnik GmbH & Co. KG, which develops, manufactures and sells the Zeppelin NT. Passengers book flights, tours and gift vouchers directly. The Zeppelin NT is also used for science and research, advertising, events and media missions.

ZLT was founded in September 1993 in Friedrichshafen, where both companies are seated; the first Zeppelin NT prototype flew on 18 September 1997. DZR traces its roots to DELAG, founded in 1909, and was revived as an operating company in January 2001. Since 2024 the teams also work at a site in Mülheim an der Ruhr. The company currently has 11 open positions at both sites, including pilots, ground crew, flight operation assistants, aircraft electronics technicians, passenger service staff, seasonal workers and dual-study tourism management students.
