About zoom-erlebniswelt.de
ZOOM Erlebniswelt operates a zoo in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, organised into the themed worlds Alaska, Afrika and Asien. The grounds cover more than 30 hectares and house about 900 animals in over 100 species. Attractions include the Alaska Ice Adventure motion ride and the African Queen boat safari on the Afrikasee.
Visitors buy day tickets, reduced tickets, annual passes and gift vouchers, including online through the zoo's shop. The company also sells advertising partner packages to businesses, covering logo placement, events, ticket allocations and business animal and tree sponsorships, and runs a membership programme supporting tiger conservation.
The zoo opened in 2005 and reports more than twelve million visitors since then. It has taken part in the European Endangered Species Programme for Amur tigers since 2013. The company is an approved placement site for the German Federal Voluntary Service and currently recruits for a 2027 animal-care placement.
Product: Zoo admission and visitor experience in Gelsenkirchen, including themed worlds, animal feedings and rides, plus annual passes and advertising partner packages.
