About We Encourage

We Encourage builds AinoAid™, an AI-based conversational guidance service for people affected by domestic violence, including victims, people who use or fear using violence, and professionals supporting them. Content and conversation flows are developed with therapy experts, survivors and partners, and the technology relies mainly on Microsoft tools.

The company is an impact company whose revenue model combines partner-based service provision with local public health and private service providers. Local expert organisations and partnerships run local experiments and later service delivery. The company is registered in Vantaa, Finland, and was founded on 22 August 2019. It has also run a pilot in Tanzania.

Its founders include CEO Anna Juusela, Katja Kytölä as head of AinoAid content, Ellimari Kortman as head of marketing, and Ulla Koivukoski as head of ecosystems and partnerships.
