About Wayland Additive
Wayland Additive develops metal additive manufacturing technology built on its NeuBeam electron beam powder bed fusion process, which neutralises the electron beam to address powder charging. Its Calibur3 metal AM system is the company's commercial platform, positioned as an alternative to laser powder bed fusion and traditional eBeam systems.
The company works with industrial manufacturers and works closely with customers on material and application development. Its technology is aimed at producing bigger parts from a wider range of materials.
Wayland Additive Limited is registered in the UK and founded in 2019, with its headquarters in Huddersfield. The team has worked on eBeam powder charging for additive manufacturing since 2015 and has secured funding from Longwall Ventures and Innovate UK.
Product: Calibur3 metal additive manufacturing system based on the NeuBeam eBeam powder bed fusion process.
