About Vitalsigns
Vitalsigns develops a smart, connected device that captures several bio-signals at the same time, including heart rate, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, ECG, temperature, respiratory rate, and lung and heart sounds. The device documents and analyses the results.
The target customers are general practitioners and nurses in primary care, with use cases extending to home monitoring and telemedicine. The company describes its revenue model as SaaS-based diagnostic support with recurring monthly revenue. Its launch is planned for early 2027 in the Nordics, followed by a wider European rollout.
Vitalsigns was founded in 2022 as a spin-off of a four-year research project at Aalto University. Its headquarters are on the Aalto University premises in Espoo, Finland. The company has closed a pre-seed round with €2.2 million committed by private and public investors and is raising a seed round of up to €2.5 million for manufacturing and go-to-market activities.
Product: Smart connected device capturing heart rate, SpO2, blood pressure, ECG, temperature, respiratory rate and lung and heart sounds, with result documentation and analysis.
