About Tutora
Tutorful runs an online marketplace where parents book one-to-one lessons with private tutors for school subjects, GCSE and A-Level exams, 11+ preparation, languages, music and adult learning. Lessons are booked, paid for and delivered by video through the platform, and parents can search tutors by subject, level, exam, availability, SEN experience and price.
Parents book lessons with tutors listed on the platform; the site states lessons start from £20 per hour. The company states it accepts about 1 in 8 tutors who apply, requires tutors to have at least 2 years' experience, and runs enhanced DBS background checks. It also offers a first-lesson guarantee in which the company covers the cost of the next lesson with a new tutor.
The website lists the company as Tutorful and states a presence across the UK, with tutors drawn from across the UK.
Product: Online one-to-one private tuition booked through a marketplace of vetted tutors, with video lessons delivered on the platform.
