About Tidal Transit
Tidal Transit provides crew transfer, offshore transport and access services for the offshore energy sector in the UK and Europe. It owns and operates a fleet of crew transfer vessels and works with partners to design, build, retrofit and run electrified crew transport and charging infrastructure.
Its main customers are offshore energy operators and project contractors across wind farm construction, maintenance and cable-laying. Services include personnel transfer, transport of tools and spares, fuel and consumables delivery, survey work, and offshore accommodation and catering during rest breaks.
The company is headquartered in Great Walsingham, Norfolk, on the North Norfolk coast, and was founded in 2011. Its e-Ginny project, which retrofits a diesel-powered crew transfer vessel into a fully electric one, is supported by £6.3m of funding from the UK Zero Emissions Vessel and Infrastructure competition. It is currently recruiting a Marine Engineer.
Product: Crew transfer vessel services and offshore transport for wind farm and offshore energy projects, with electric vessel retrofits.
