About Tended
Tended builds high-accuracy location technology for worksite safety. Its positioning devices combine geospatial data with virtual safe zones overlaid on a worksite, and trigger alerts when a boundary is crossed. The system accuracy is stated as down to the centimetre and needs no onsite infrastructure or installation.
Its product range includes the positioning device, planning, geotagging, virtual worksites and RSSI managed services. Customers are organisations working in high-risk environments, mainly in rail and construction; the website names Network Rail, Irish Rail, Siemens, Ground Control, SPL Powerlines and AmcoGiffen among them.
Tended was founded in 2017 by Leo Scott Smith. The company describes itself as remote-first, with company days held at locations across the UK. Its open roles include an Engineering Supervisor / Safety Technology Implementation Lead in Bromley, and a Project Manager and a rail Engineering Supervisor in Lincoln.
Product: Wearable positioning devices with geofenced virtual safe zones and boundary alerts, plus planning, geotagging, virtual worksites and RSSI managed services.
