About TarmacView
TarmacView builds a drone-based inspection platform for airfields. It measures PAPI and approach and runway lighting with RTK positioning to ±1 cm and angular accuracy to ±3 arc-minutes, and generates reports for ICAO, EASA or FAA requirements. Pavement and obstacle inspection are listed as in development.
Customers are civil and military airfields and their operators. TarmacView sells inspections as a service: its crew, drones and measurement equipment visit the airport, and pricing is quoted per airport based on the number of runways and surfaces and travel distance. Certified drone operators can also offer the service through a partner program.
TarmacView is based in Bratislava and was founded in 2025. Its founders include former aviation authority inspectors who left state positions in 2023. The team page lists five people, including the CEO, CTO, an aviation expert, a UAS operations expert and a founding engineer.
Product: Drone inspection platform for airfield lighting (PAPI, approach, runway lights) with mission planning, RTK measurement and automated regulatory reports.
