About ANDROMEDA Technologies
ANDROMEDA Technologies develops autonomous drones fitted with magnetometers that fly close to the ground over contaminated areas and produce a map of magnetic anomalies. The marked locations are then checked on site by pyrotechnic teams, so people do not enter the area during the survey. The prototype was flight-tested with 30 to 60 cm sensor height, 1 m/s flight speed and 0.6 m line spacing; a second generation with ground-penetrating radar is described as the next step to improve identification.
The intended customers are mine-clearance and pyrotechnic teams, with the aim of narrowing the area they must work in. The website also has a section for investors.
The company is registered in Bratislava, Slovakia, where it is headquartered, and was founded on 7 May 2026. Its website states a target throughput of about 8,000 m² per hour for the next generation.
Product: Autonomous drone-based magnetometer survey system that maps magnetic anomalies over mine- and UXO-contaminated terrain.
