About STS Defence
STS Defence, a part of the Cicor Group, designs, assembles, integrates and supports mission-critical secure communications and networks, electronic warfare and control, and instrumentation systems. Its work covers the naval and air defence markets, including communications masts for Royal Navy warships, cooling for IT hardware at sea, and UHF satellite communications.
Services span the product lifecycle: exploiting new technology, developing concepts into prototypes and small-batch production, then integrating systems and supporting them through-life. Customers are defence organisations, and the company works under programmes and contracts with them; the case studies listed on the website include Royal Navy water-cooled cabinets and consoles and equipment racks.
The company is based in Gosport, UK, where its facility is located, and was founded in 1996. It is recruiting for production, quality, engineering, facilities and key account roles, and offers apprenticeship and graduate placements. It also publishes a Cyber Essentials Plus certification renewal for 2026.
Product: Secure communications and networks, electronic warfare and control systems, instrumentation, and integrated through-life support for naval and air defence customers.
