About Speakly

Speakly is a language-learning app that teaches the 4,000 most statistically relevant words of a target language, ordered by their real-life frequency. It includes writing and speaking exercises, a grammar section, listening exercises and simulated real-life situations, and uses spaced repetition to reinforce what has been learned. The app runs on computer and smartphone.

Customers are individual learners who choose a language and buy a learning package, paid through Stripe and PayPal; invoices are available on request. Learners can contact the company's language specialists for advice and support.

Speakly is registered in Tallinn, Estonia, where its headquarters is located, and was founded in 2018. Co-founders Ott Ojamets (CEO) and Ingel Keskpaik (COO) build on the LIVE methodology that Ott Ojamets published in 2012. The website states a team of more than thirty people from eight countries and says the company is hiring.
