About Spark Lasers
Spark Lasers manufactures compact femtosecond and picosecond pulsed lasers for scientific and industrial applications. Femtosecond models are named Alcor, Altair and Diadem, and picosecond models Antares and Sirius. Wavelengths, repetition rates, power and energy are configurable, and customisation is offered.
Customers include research laboratories in bioimaging, neuroscience, ophthalmology, life sciences and nonlinear optics, as well as industrial users in micromachining, semiconductor and medical device manufacturing. The French microscope maker Femtonics designs the Alcor 920 into its 3D acousto-optic microscopes. The company sells and services its lasers worldwide through a distribution network.
Spark Lasers was founded in August 2015 by Pascal Dupriez, its CEO, and is headquartered in Martillac, France. The company states that it has 15 locations worldwide.
