About Sterela
Sterela is an industrial engineering and services company that develops integrated multi-technology systems, combining electronic and mechatronic equipment with software for data acquisition, processing and transmission. Its offer includes installation and in-service maintenance (MCO). Product lines include dynamic weighing and vehicle counting for ITS, automatic weather observation and data acquisition stations, static and dynamic target carriers for shooting training, and test systems.
The company is organised into four strategic business units: ITS, Défense, Météo and Testing Systems, each run as an autonomous profit centre from market definition through sales. Its customers are in ITS, meteorology, defence and aeronautics. Services sold alongside the systems include installation and commissioning, level 1 and 2 maintenance, preventive and curative maintenance, supervision, technical assistance through the Sterela SAT service team, and training.
Sterela was founded in 1989 and is based in Pins-Justaret, France. Its teams carry out interventions in France and abroad. The company belongs to the Bpifrance Excellence network and took part in the first Accélérateur PME programme run by Bpifrance. In 2023 it received the UIMM Occitanie "+ engagés + performants" CSR certification.
