About SMSdata

SMSdata develops AGIS, an online geoinformation system with data on municipal infrastructure and public facilities, drawn from registers, databases and field surveys. It also offers infrastructure digitisation, 2D and 3D scanning, and passports for public lighting, traffic signs, cemeteries and roads.

Its customers are municipalities and municipal offices, and the company states its tools can also serve the private sector. Product modules include Dotace jednoduše (subsidies), Autorská práva jednoduše (copyright handling for municipal events with music) and a social module. SMSdata takes part in digital technical map (DTM) work under a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Regional Development and the Czech Office for Surveying, Mapping and Cadastre.

The company was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Prague. Its partners include the Ministry of Regional Development, Škoda Auto and ČEZ, and its activities are supported by the Sdružení místních samospráv ČR (Association of Local Self-Government Bodies of the Czech Republic).
