About SmartCella

SmartCella develops the Extroducer®, an endovascular catheter for localized delivery of diagnostic and therapeutic payloads to tissues and tumors. It also has a stem-cell platform for mRNA delivery; the company is divesting its SMART01 and SMART02 cell therapy programs and GMP facility.

The company works with therapy developers and has signed Extroducer® agreements with XyloCor Therapeutics, Oloker Therapeutics and Heqet Therapeutics. Its Extroducer® received US FDA 510(k) clearance, and it is initiating a Phase I/IIa study for targeted chemotherapy delivery in pancreatic cancer.
