Sikom Connect

Sikom Connect makes smart heating and energy control systems for holiday cabins (hytter). Its Ring Hytta Varm range includes central units, thermostats for floor heating, controllers for panel heaters and hot-water tanks, relays, temperature sensors and alarm components. The Sikom Living app lets owners control heating, temperature and electricity use remotely. Controls can shift heating cables away from hours with high hourly electricity prices and account for grid power tariffs.

Customers are cabin owners. Central units require an annual subscription, and the hardware is sold through the company's online shop in Norwegian kroner. Solutions are also offered for cabins without mains power, using solar or wind systems (12 V) with 4G GSM coverage, and the system can integrate with the electricity meter in the fuse cabinet and control electric car chargers.

The company is registered as SIKOM CONNECT AS with its headquarters in Trondheim, Norway, and was founded in 2012. The website states that Sikom has supplied Ring Hytta Varm solutions since 1997, reports more than 100,000 installed systems, more than 34,500 satisfied customers and 324 MW of adjustable power, and publishes guidance on upgrading devices before the 2G network is switched off in 2027.
