About Signatur Its
Signatur ITS develops intelligent transport systems (ITS) built around camera imaging. Its MultiMotor ANPRAI combines several ANPR engines with the company's own AI algorithms and is calibrated to each customer's application; it can be delivered as cloud/SaaS or on-premise. Its Automatic Traffic Control (ATC) system, developed with strategic partner Perspic AS, covers point and average speed control with camera, illumination and speed-measuring modules designed for Nordic weather conditions.
Customers are private and public companies, including road authorities. The company also works on vehicle image matching, a method for matching entry and exit images of the same vehicle that it developed in an R&D project with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, and on automatic GDPR-compliant image anonymization.
Signatur ITS was founded in 2011 as a spin-off from an R&D project on imaging and OCR technology. Its headquarters are in Kongsvinger, and it also has an office in Oslo city centre. The company lists open positions in Oslo and Kongsvinger for software, machine learning and hardware roles, and its tech stack includes Python, PostgreSQL, Rust, TensorFlow and React.
