About Solwr Software
Solwr develops supply chain software and warehouse robots for wholesale companies. Its Trace™ platform covers warehouse management (WMS), order management (OMS) and transport management (TMS). Its robots include Grab™, a mobile autonomous picking robot, and Sort™, a pallet sorting robot with a standard capacity of 350 pallets an hour.
Customers are wholesale and retail companies, and the website names Norwegian grocery and retail operators among them. The company moved from hour-based consulting to a software-as-a-service model in 2017. The website states that 1/3 of all groceries in Norway go through its systems.
The company traces its origins to Data Pro AS, founded in 1982 in Ålesund. Currence Robotics was founded in 2016, and the two merged under the Solwr brand in 2022. Solwr has offices in Ålesund, Trondheim and Oslo and about 100 employees. It is hiring project managers, developers, automation, mechanics and robotics engineers, and offers internships and thesis projects.
Product: Trace™ supply chain platform with WMS, OMS and TMS modules; Grab™ mobile picking robot; Sort™ pallet sorting robot.
