About Sicame UK
Sicame UK designs and manufactures electrical distribution equipment. The range covers cable accessories and jointing tools, MV resin cable joints, polymeric and distribution insulators, low voltage fusegear, service cutouts, and low voltage underground distribution products.
Its products are sold to electricity supply utilities and the wider distribution and supply industry, and the company also supplies railway and light rail insulators and insulators for OEMs. The company is a subsidiary of Sicame Group.
Sicame UK was founded in 1997 and is based in Hoo, near Rochester, where its factory is located. It holds ISO 9001:2015 quality certification and Network Rail approval for its polymeric insulators, and is approved by Achilles UVDB, Supply Line (Ireland) and RISQS. The Sicame Group states its products are used in more than 120 countries. Current job openings include Senior Executive Quality Assurance, Service Engineer, Product Manager and Financial Analyst.
